Mary Brush, AIA

Mary Brush is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois, and NCARB certified. She is active in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a member of the Chicago Delegates to the AIA-Illinois Chapter. 

She is extremely honored to be the Richard Morris Hunt Fellow for 2005.  The opportunity to meet the conservation community in France will be professionally and personally fascinating.  The anticipated dialogue between restoration professionals about techniques, designs, challenges, and philosophies will be an unprecedented life experience.

Ms. Brush has a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois-Chicago.  Her college degree is from William Smith College.  Her professional experience includes the investigation and restoration of existing high rises and churches, the preservation of historic residences, as well as the design of new buildings.

The Narragansett Building, 1640 East 50th Street, Chicago Illinois, designed by Leichenko and Esser, 1929.

Holy Innocents Church, 743 North Armour Street, Chicago, Illinois, designed by Worthmann and Steinbach, 1911.
